Sex-Linked Traits and Autosomal GenesHi everyone,
i am taking a biology class in college and i don't know the answer to a question and i was hoping maybe someone did know. here it is: "Explain how the transmission of sex-linked traits differs from patterns seen in autosomal genes." thank you for your replys
For each autosome you have two copies(homologs), but is that always the case for sex chromosomes?

Well if I(male) get the X chromosome with daltonism(recessive) then why is that different than if my sister gets it and another X that doesnt have the mutation?
