Osmosis-practical?

OMGSH THIS PRACTICAL IS EATING ME ALIVE!!!

so.um my aim for the experiment we have to carry out it to: determine the effect of change in surface area on the rate of osmosis reaction.

controlled variables: temperature of the room, concentration graident, pH, mass of water.

i have no idea how to do the experiment >.< i have to write out my own design and such. can someone help? i'm an IB diploma student.

oh and um my dependent variable is like rate of osmosis reaction. so how do i actually calculate that?

If you have a membrane and a pH gradient, you would have water flow.
