ovarian cyst

Hey !
from a month I examined by X-ray that show a large simple ovarian cyst on RT ovary .Now it suddenly disappeared without taking any medicine or drug. just disappeared with no remains ,I wonder what is the cause of it? and how it disappeared?
I think it may b formed by over prolifation of some cells ,is this true?

Hi There,
The way I understand it is that every month an egg is developed in alternative ovary. If the egg matures there is the possiblity of getting pregnant the normal way. However, if it does not mature and burst then a cyst is form. Now this cyst can grow quite large over several months and even years or it can burst and desolve during your next menstural cycle.
