Appendicitis --> CT Scan Radioisotope?I'm just curious about something.
I just got my Appendix removed, and I was wondering which radioisotope is used before the CT scan. In my somewhat-delirious state, I still managed to ask which radioisotope was used, and I think I was told it was Iodine, but I don't know which isotope of iodine it was. Apparently there are several used in medicine, so I have no clue. Does anyone know? I'm just curious about this. Thanks. Now I'm gonna go back to bed, my stomach hurts.
