Frog DissectionRecently I did a frog dissection in school. It was kinda freaky at first but after I felt that it was pretty interesting. I did the dissection with 3 other people.
So during the process I took some pictures and I thought I might share it with you guys. Some of them might be a bit blurry since I took it with my cellphone. If you're afraid of blood etc, I suggest you do not look at this. It is quite cruel, sacrificing frogs for our education. It's in links so that people can click if they want to. http://www.imgcatch.com/show.php/245_DSC00060.JPG.html http://www.imgcatch.com/show.php/244_DSC00061.JPG.html http://www.imgcatch.com/show.php/243_DSC00057.JPG.html http://www.imgcatch.com/show.php/242_DSC00056.JPG.html http://www.imgcatch.com/show.php/241_DSC00055.JPG.html http://www.imgcatch.com/show.php/240_DSC00054.JPG.html http://www.imgcatch.com/show.php/239_DSC00053.JPG.html http://www.imgcatch.com/show.php/238_DSC00049.JPG.html I've got a video of the heart beating but I'm too lazy to upload it PM me if you want the video and I'll email it to you.
Those are pretty cool! I remember we dissected frogs way back in high school, but more recently, in general bio we dissected fetal pigs; that was pretty cool.
You said you've got a video of the heart beating... you don't mean frog heart do you? You didn't dissect live frogs I hope?
Yeah, using animals to dissect them is cruel.I'm happy I haven't got to do this during my medicine studies. We dissect human bodies.
