If you just look at the pics of a centipede than various interesting things come up, he is strong enough that he can kill a Scorpio or a small snake through his fang which is upside from his mouth, and they are very strong. A male centipede is smaller in size than female ones.. I collected this interesting information from my sources.

I agree with you canalon. Centipedes can't bore into the brain through ears.
But may be possibly go inside the dead body for scavenging? Hence people say that.
