Xylitol Gum

Postby mith » Sun Aug 19, 2007 2:03 am

I'm hearing that this stuff can lower tooth decay, but might also have a mild laxative effect. Any thoughts or experiences?

Hmm well it's been around for a while over here, in some Orbit chewing gums. Can't say there is any noticeable difference to other gums other than the price.

All minty sweety things, Polos for example, have had laxative warnings on them for years, but you literally have to eat packet after packet to notice anything.

And yes, I have.

^^One of my ex-girlfriends said that. I stress the ex part.
