What is neuro-endoscopic?

Hello everyone, I am sorry if I am posting this in the wrong section or forum, but I really need some responses concerning this please. I would like to know what Neuro-endoscopic means. I have been searching for it online on http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Endoscopic and http://www.jdhealthcare.com/brainspine.html#6 but on the first one, I didn't get what I was looking for and on the second website I only got this

You could try looking at various procedures at the Centre for Minimally Invasive Neurosurgery website. They have a section on Neuroendoscopy.

I have to warn you though that photos of the procedures are pretty graphic.. If that kind of thing disturbs you, I would just read the literature & avoid the procedure photos.
