NeurotransmittersThe role of epinephrine in regulating glycolysis???????????? :
epinephrine prepare you to fight or flight in certain conditions. So, if you want to fight or flight in such condition, you need lots of energy, right? and then, where do your energy come from? the first pathway for energy extraction from glucose is the glycolysis...
Q: Why are chemists great for solving problems?
A: They have all the solutions.
well i get ur question.epiephrine blocks glycolysis temporarily so that glucose is available to all the cells without any distribution differences.the body needs more energy-right.but the purpose is not served if all the cells do not receive glucose.once the available glucose is distributed uniformly glycolysis proceeds.
