transient transfection with luciferase systemHi,
I do now transient transfection with the promega luciferase sysyem (FireFly and Renilla Luciferase) and would like to know how long the constructs are in the cells. Because I learnt that 2 days after transfection the cells "skip" the plasmid but I would do longer treatments and would like to see if there is a time dependency. But if the cells loose the plasmid before I measure the luciferase I'm not able to see any effect... Hm, maybe someone has a few experience with this topic or is very smart and can help me?! Thanks a lot in advance, Elke
hello.
In our lab we are doing Luciferase assay.... one option is to do double transfection of your plasmid.... for example: firstly you do transfection and next day after that or two days after first trasfnection you can do transfection again...
