Specialists remove egg cells from the fetus, fertilize them by the husband and impregnate a surrogate mother with the fertilized eggs. It grows full term and a healthy baby is born.

It depends upon the legal system involved. Many systems determine parenthood genetically, so the surrogate would not be, but in some systems the surrogate is granted certain quasi-parental rights anyway.

Who is the birth mother?
Who is the foster mother, which could be a relative?
