What is HUMAN NATURE?Years ago I was challenged to find out what was it in our nature that created or held together the hunting/gathering groups which we evolved in. I finally worked out a system and managed to come up with a picture of our whole instinctive social repetoire.
How would you go about it and what do you think you would find? charles, http://humanpurpose.simplenet.com
this was interesting to me. i didnt look at the human behavioral part of it. in my way of thinking . it seems that the people are going back to what is safe to them. as change is always hard to achieve if there is fear involved
Yes, fear IS involved. Notice how we in the U.S. responded to the 9/11 attack. The fear animated the whole country and galvanized into a warlike people (which we got over in a few more years!). This is normal and not just human. Howler monkeys will collect at the border of their territory and "hurl insults" at another group in the next territory! I once took a hike and was confronted by a flange of three bulls who had separated from the herd. They had come up to challenge me and were "protecting their females and offspring." Is this why men go to war? to protect the folks back home? Yes, they go and invade other countries killing tens of thousands of people and it is all out of fear! charles, http://humanpurpose.simplenet.com
