RNA extraction from FFPE

Has anyone else tried extracting RNA from Formilin fixed parafin tissue? and do you know of an optimal protocol for doing so? because the manufacturers protocol sucks!!!!

Have you tried Formapure from Agencourt Biosciences? This kit is designed for RNA extraction from paraffin embedded tissue for real time PCR or microarray use.
