Adrenaline and Noradrenaline???I am wondering how can the human hormones,adrenaline and noradrenaline increase the blood glucose level?Pls explain in details.

They are stress hormones. Prepares the organism for the 'fight or flight' reaction. What does your body needs to think, decide or run away? The answer is glucose. Isn't it?

Glycogen is a polysaccharide of glucose (used to store glucose in the liver and muscle cells). Glycogenolysis is the catabolism of glycogen which takes place in the liver and leads to glucose. Glucose then is released in the blood so it incerases blood sugar levels.
Gluconeogenesis is the process of generating glucose from non-sugar (lipids and amino acids). Both of these processes increase blood glucose level. To answer your first question: Adrenaline and Noradrenaline not only stimulate these two proceses but it also inhibates insulin secretion. Insulin is the hormon that is responsible of decreasing blood glucose level.
