B) Potassium channels open and rushes in.
C) The sodium-potassium pump exchanges sodium and potassium.
D) Negatively charged organic ions rush outside.

A) Sodium channels open and rushes in.
B) Sodium channels open and rushes out.
C) Potassium channels open and rushes in.
D) Potassium channels open and rushes out.
E) Negatively charged organic ions rush outside.
3. In an Acetylcholine synapse, the insecticide would be expected to
A) prevent the postsynaptic membrane from depolarizing.
B) cause the presynaptic membrane to depolarize only once.
C) produce uncontrollable spasms.
D) increase cholinesterase production.
4. The person can move his toe, but can't feel the movement
A. Block is in spinal cord.
B. Block is in sensory neuron.

A. Block is in spinal cord.
B. Block is in sensory neuron.
C. Block is at motor neuron.
D. No block.
7. When the skin of the toe is stimulated, the toe moves, but the person dosen't know it's moving.
A. Block is in spinal cord.
B. Block is in sensory neuron.
C. Block is at motor neuron.
D. No block.

13. Number events of a synaptic transmission in order from 1-7
__An action potential is stimulated at the postsynaptic membrane
__An enzyme cleaves the neurotransmitter substance and clears out the synaptic cleft.
__Impulse reaches synapse from axon.
__Impulse stimulates synaptic vesicles to move to presynaptic membrane.
__Neurotransmitter substance diffuses across the cleft.
__Neurotransmitter substance fits into receptor sites on postsynaptic membrane.

Okay, here is what i think the answers are and if someone can correct them, that would be great.
1) D. the sodium-potassium pump exchanges sodium and potassium
2) D. potassium channels open and rushes out.
3) i'm guessing A. prevent the postsynaptic membrane from depolarizing.
4-7)I have absolutely no idea.
8-12) I have absolutely no idea.
13) I can't find anywhere.

Please help me, and it's not me asking someone to do my work, it's asking for help because I'm really struggling.

4.B
5.C
6.D
7.B ( i think ) :?
8.B ( i think - depends on that they mean by change)
9.A
10.C
11.B & C (jerks leg, only requires a spinal chord - you need a brain to feel pain and to grab your foot)
12.A
13.

DO NOT ANSWER HOMEWORK QUESTIONS! You are not helping anyone by doing this

PS: some of the answers are wrong :P :P

:) I agree with you Andrew.

Hey guys, while asking questions, please ask them in a way that they do not totally sound like homework. Actulally you should first try to find the answers yourself and ask the points that are not clear. We are not your homework makers... :)
