Genetic engineering (insertation)Hi
I m very confused about how some process in genetic engineering are done. Spatially the part witch dna in inserted in the nucleus. I know the heat shock protocol where calcium punctures the outer cell wall and dna is forced through. But I don’t understand the protocol for eukaryotic cells. Can you help me understand the procedures please? thanks
Its seems impossible . the needle is like 3 times smaller than the nucleus. im sure they use other methods. Like in Gene therapy etc..
