The Himalayan YewI was wondering if anyone could give me some info on this tree.
-general info -websites -news articles -ect.
HeyHey Bryan, here's a trick. When you want to look up papers and such on biology try google scholar search. go to google than click on more and then click on scholar. It will look for the data base for all papers on the subject you want. Good luck on ur bio report

Gee Inu, I never knew about that scholar Google thing. Anyway Ice, here are a few sites that might help you:
http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/entrez/quer ... t=Abstract http://www.the-tree.org.uk/BritishTrees/yew.htm http://www.ch.ic.ac.uk/local/projects/a ... overy.html Oh right, that second link there has a lotta stuff about the Himalayan Yew.
I was also wondering if you're just doing H.Y.s, and if you would want some facts on deforestation and other human induced disasters. Doing a little something on acidic rain and population would help your report, I'd think.
Re: The Himalayan YewA number of possibilities exist. One is that the "original dogs" were so genetically simple that they could inbreed without problems...similar to how most plants can do so.
