regarding T helper 2!

I'm wondering .. can we treat allergy by blocking the effect of Th2 in producing IgE instead of histamins? Why do we treat it after the chemical mediators are released from the mast cell?

in other words, can we prevent the allergic reaction caused by a reexposure to a specific antigen by blocking the effect of Th2 on IgE?

There is a way to block Th2 cells and stimulate Th1 cells.
Desensitization is a procedure in which an allergic individual is exposed to increasing doses of allergen in hopes of inhibiting their allergic reactions. It probably involves shifting the balance between CD4 TH1 and TH2 cells and thus changing the antibody produced from IgE to IgG.
