Bioremediation

Postby arensdt on Mon May 21, 2007 11:04 pm

Hi all,

I have to write a paper on bioremediation, site a minimum of four references that have been published within the last year. Can anybody suggest some recent articles or links about bioremediation? What it is, what affect it plays in the environment, etc. etc.

Thanks

Bioremediation is the use genetically of engineered bacteria to degrade harmful toxic chemicals and wastes into nontoxic products. The additional gene is commonly added onto the bacteria in plasmids rather than permanently integration into the whole genome. just search pubmed.
