metal cation vs bacteriaHi, I am doing effects of some metal cations on biofilm formed by bacteria.
How can I get the basic knowledge of their biological functions to bac? I come from China and poorly in english expression. Thanks for you advises.
Am, sorry, but I don't know what you mean by biofilm. You're looking for some information about an impact of heavy meatl cations on bacterial cells, right?
neither am I, don't worry
I believe gfxmu is asking about the effects on their cell walls.
Sorry, I really dont know. But new plasters (band-aids?) here have silver in them to sanitise small cuts "What are humans if they don't learn at University? Animals, yes."
^^One of my ex-girlfriends said that. I stress the ex part.

That's right! But not for heavy metal cation, for example, Na, K, Mg,Ca and the other trace metals.
