Does anyone know what causes urine to become more concentrated when you don't drink enough water?
I have a few ideas, I was thinking it was a release of ADH from the pituitary gland, but I'm not very sure.

The ADH should definitely be one thing that would have an effect.

Mainly ADH
Also aldosterone

low water --> ADH --> aldosterone --> distal convoluted tubule more permeable --> water comes back --> urine more concentrated
