Hi.I'm new but I think you need to heat the sucrose and yeast seperately then add them together then add a few drops of methylene blue. And voila

in your hypothesis u must include predictions graphs...which are basic graphs with the x-axis being temp and the y-axis being rate of reaction...u would have already done such graphs in class
in your results section u must have a table with titles...however since this is just a planning exercise u will not be required to have any data in ur table

Hmmm very tempting its a complete joke (the Plan) The problem is that 16 marks is the difference between about 4 grade boundaries - they are really easy to get so get them all. Come on You can Do it you know you can!

Do we get penalised badly from going over the word limit? Mine's about 1500 words and i can't get it any shorter.

After the first hundred over yes you will lose marks for structure is how i understand it.

_at_ Doive a surely a colorimeter wouldnt work as the yeast cells will cloud the solution giving inacurate results. a suggestion would be a Haemocytometer which is a large microscope slide with a grid on. you can then count acurately % death on a graph

Maybe you didnt leave the solutions long enough to denature.... it takes 5 mins usually but i had to leave it 10 mins to get 100% death rate

you can get marked down beacuse apparently people unable to keep withing the word limit give badly structured work

some people have asked what the difference between using glucose and sucrose is... the only difference is that glucose reacts faster... i tested them in my prelim work.

.....btw can anyone help with the risk assesment does meth or yeast or sugar have any hazards? i no it seems a stupid q but one of them must do otherwise we shouldnt need to add it.
