No Y or T.

Give up yet?

Incorrect guesses:
Carbonic, boric, stearic, Lactic, Glutamic, E, D, O, N, Y, T.

No L but you can have two S's

abscisic<Space>acid

Incorrect guesses:
Carbonic, boric, stearic, Lactic, Glutamic, E, D, O, N, Y, T, U, L.

abscisic acid is the answer!!
Also known as ABA, it is the plant growth regulatorthat causes the closure of the stomata in dry conditions, and inhibits seed germination.
