Summary

- The AAP Practice Parameter on Urinary Tract Infections in Febrile Infants and Young Children

Eleven recommendations have been made to improve the diagnosis, treatment and evaluation of febrile infants with UTI and four areas for future research have been identified. Interested readers are urged to consult the practice parameter¹ and technical report.² A brochure for parents is available from the AAP.
